Sales Engineer
Role Description
Appion Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated, full-time Sales Engineer for a remote position. The Sales Engineer will be integral in promoting our cloud-based Apprenticeship Program Management Platform. Responsibilities include understanding and addressing customer needs, demonstrating how our platform aligns with those needs, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales process. A critical part of the role is managing customer requests and overseeing the implementation process post-sale to ensure a smooth transition and customer satisfaction. The Sales Engineer will work closely with sales, development, and other cross-functional teams, using their technical acumen to translate complex features into clear benefits. This role is well-suited for individuals who excel in a start-up environment and are skilled at balancing technical knowledge with customer-oriented sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in technical sales, preferably with cloud-based or SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of the apprenticeship and training sector.
- Technical background with a grasp of software development and web technologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in product demonstrations and leading technical sales discussions.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and familiarity with sales processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, marketing, product development, and other teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Self-motivated, eager to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Experience in managing customer relationships and resolving issues.
- Capability to oversee customer implementation processes, ensuring successful integration post-sale.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and product presentations.
