Mike Harris, our CEO, is a prolific and highly successful entrepreneur having founded and sold several companies, including Patina Solutions (sold to Korn Ferry in 2022) and Jefferson Wells (sold to Manpower in 2001). Mike also served on numerous Boards for successful companies across the workforce solution sectors.

Jeff Hart serves as Appion’s chief growth officer, leading commercialization efforts focused on developing close relationships with our clients. Hart served as part-owner and VP, NA Sales for CPC Logistics, a national provider of truck driver sourcing and fleet solutions after serving as president of Manpower Inc.’s Transpersonnel subsidiary with nearly 800 associates in transportation and warehousing. Jeff also served in numerous Board and consulting capacities for successful companies and non-profit organizations.

Lloyd is the creative force behind Appion Solutions who developed our software and serves as our president and chief technology officer. Ebert was the Director of Technology for Patina Solutions (which was sold to Korn Ferry in April 2022). Ebert has over a decade of experience developing custom cloud-based software solutions. Ebert is the President and Chief Technology Officer of Appion.

Robert Hopton serves as an outside Director on the Appion Board. Hopton was most recently co-founder and CEO of Health eFilings, a healthcare IT company whose proprietary cloud-based software enabled providers and healthcare organizations to easily comply with complex reporting requirements. Health eFilings was sold in 2022. Before Health eFilings, he was CEO of Idle Free Systems, a manufacturer of patented, battery-operated auxiliary power units for the trucking industry.

Ann Hanna serves as an outside Director on the Appion Board. Ann is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Taureau Group, a leading independent investment bank. She specializes in mergers, acquisitions, and recapitalizations, having completed both domestic and cross-border transactions. Her distinctive background also includes extensive operational experience as owner of several successful businesses and involvement in multiple corporate start-ups.

Dr. Albrecht serves as an outside Director on the Appion Board. Bryan most recently served as President of Gateway Technical College and holds the title of President Emeritus. He is nationally recognized for his leadership in education, workforce, and economic development, serving as a technical expert for state and federal agencies including the White House and the United States Congress. Bryan’s expertise is highlighted through innovative industry partnerships including serving on the Wisconsin State Apprenticeship Board and the American Association of Community College’s Apprenticeship Advisory Board.

John Pulera serves as Director of Client Development for Appion Solutions.  Prior to joining the Appion team, John was a successful Director of Business Development with Health eFilings, a healthcare IT company, until the sale of the company in 2022.  John has also been involved with various healthcare start-up companies in the Madison, Wisconsin area.  John is known for his thorough and thoughtful approach to helping his clients achieve their goals.

Amy is the Implementation Project Manager at Appion Solutions, bringing over 15 years of experience working with software development teams in roles spanning project and product management. She has successfully led software projects of all sizes by prioritizing clear communication and transparency. In her recent positions, Amy has driven the vision, strategy, and delivery of SaaS products to clients. Her passion for building strong client relationships ensures smooth and successful software implementations.

Barry serves as Development Manager for Appion Solutions.  He is an innovative Full Stack Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience, having worked with major companies such as Skybound Entertainment, SAG-AFTRA (the Oscars), Herman Miller, and Cisco. Barry’s work has played a pivotal role in the design and development of Fortune 500 company projects, driving substantial results such as a 300% revenue increase prior to SEO and ad campaigns, and contributing to the acquisition of a company sold for over $15 million.
